A Long Time

It has been a long time since I have written anything at all on here or even wanted to.
It isn't really because my life has been boring or anything. I guess it was just a major case of writer's block. Also, I suppose that I didn't really know what to write after my last post. Poor Hattie. That was a decision that I didn't ever want to make (especially by myself). We have Skye now, though, who has gone a long way to healing my broken heart.

I'm not sure why I decided to start writing on here today. Especially this weekend. There is absolutely nothing going on. Nothing. Fun times.

So let me give you a brief update on life as it is now:
  • I'm living the life of a nomad. Mostly in Kent, sometimes in County Durham and often in East Sussex. I don't like this but I don't really have a choice.
  • I live in a pub.... (Don't get excited it is converted and no, the bar isn't there anymore.)
  • I'm back at university studying Operating Department Practice (google it - I'm not very good at explaining and everyone asks).
  • I've been enjoying/missing terribly our new dog, Skye. I say new but we've had her for over a year now. She is fun, strong, very sweet, very, very friendly and a little mental. She keeps us on our toes. But I only get to see her every now and again at the moment. Who knew the South was so far away from the North?
  • Phemie died which is sad. She was a very sweet girl. I'm now not going to be able to have a hamster until at least 2014. This is a very long time!
  • I'm 25. I'm nearly 26 which is closer to 30 than 20.
  • Dan Parks has retired from international rugby. It has been a week and a half and I'm still gutted. I cried for 5 days straight.
So, now you know.

Let's see how this blogging thing goes and whether I can come up with any interesting posts. Only time will tell.
